How can knowledge, experience, and networking open up new opportunities for women in the technology sector? This was one of the key topics of the official launch of ZORA – the Network of Women in Serbia’s Tech Sector, attended by representatives of the Faculty of Organizational Studies “Eduka,” Prof. Dr. Ivana Jošanov-Vrgović and Tatjana Đukić.

The event brought together representatives of business, technology, innovation, and education around a common goal: greater visibility, stronger connections, and greater influence of women in the tech community. The new website, the Database of Women in Serbia’s Tech Sector, previous activities, and the network’s development plans were presented, while the gathering provided an opportunity to exchange experiences and explore future collaborations.

For Eduka, these topics have a direct connection with what is studied in the classroom and applied in the business environment. Ivana Jošanov-Vrgović and Tatjana Đukić teach courses in organizational psychology at the Faculty, making talent development, professional advancement, equality, and the creation of a supportive organizational culture an important part of their teaching and professional work. Understanding people and organizations is also key to understanding the future of the technology sector.

The invitation to participate was extended by Biljana Rakić, VP of Human Capital at CAKE.com, with whom the Faculty has established a business partnership. Participation in this event further connects Eduka with the business community and the topics shaping the modern workplace — from human capital development to equal opportunities for professional success.

By supporting initiatives such as ZORA, the Faculty of Organizational Studies “Eduka” promotes education that is open to practice, new ideas, and collaboration. Because connecting knowledge and experience creates an environment where both people and organizations can grow.
